Eric Clapton, Royal Albert Hall

Continuing my guitar pilgrimage three nights ago was the time to see Eric Clapton live. This was the middle of his 11 nights sold out series at the Royal Albert Hall. Some amazing guitar playing a great band his great voice and the best theatre in the world made for a night to remember. Especially loved the blues songs he sang like a true bluesman, one could easily close his eyes and imagine Ray Charles was back on stage! Great sound coming out of his fender electric guitar and his playing was so relaxed as if he was playing for a few friends in his sitting room. Now I know what all the fuss was about and if it is silly to say someone is the best guitarist in the world it is pretty safe to say is up there with the best for sure.
