Autumn Colours

Picture taken at Naritasan Park where as the heat of summer gives way to fresher days, the autumn colours are beginning to paint trees in red and orange hues. Koyo as it is called in Japan is the time when tree leaves change colour. The japanese maples or momiji is a spectacular example of that. This year mild temperature so far means that in the Tokyo area there are only hints of autumn.
